Letter L songs have a special place in several classrooms, and I have been sharing some with students here in the South because they were firstintroduced a few years ago. Students love these fun alphabet songs and enjoy the process of learning to read and sing together with a well-known children’ song. A lot of us are familiar with this popular children’s tune, but most of us don’t realize it’s really an extremely educational tune that’s also fun to sing. It helps to develop language skills, which is something that’s quite essential in grade school, and in life generally.
